KUALA LUMPUR: Former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak will be charged under the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act (AMLATFPUAA) 2001 at the Kuala Lumpur court complex.

In confirming this, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) in a statement said the charge was related to SRC International Sdn Bhd.

"The charge is made after getting the approval of the Attorney-General (AG)," the statement read.

MACC also confirmed that it had called Najib to be present at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Academy in Bukit Tunku, Jalan Duta yesterday afternoon.

The Pekan Parliamentarian was called in to assist in investigation into SRC International.
