KUALA LUMPUR: In conjunction with the 61st National Day celebrations, Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB), is once again offering a special incentive towards encouraging commercial consumers to light up their buildings and the surrounding areas with decorative lighting.
In a statement, TNB said the incentive, in place since 2000, was for all commercial consumers under the B, C1 and C2 tariffs for the months of August and September and which had been operating for at least a year.
The rate of incentive is 20.8 sen/kWhr (Neon & Floodlight) for an increase in electricity usage that exceeds the three-month average of May, June and July 2018.
“It involves skyscrapers, office buildings, commercial complexes, shopping complexes, hotels as well as petrol stations,” TNB said.
Eligible consumers can obtain the application forms for this purpose at all Kedai Tenaga or via the myTNB Self Service Portal, www.mytnb.com.my.
