Maszlee wishes UPSR candidates best of luck

KUALA LUMPUR: Education Minister Dr Maszlee Malik today wished candidates for the Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) the best of luck.

In his entry on his Twitter website, he prayed that all the knowledge learned could be expressed smoothly when answering the exam questions.

“Seek your parents’and guardians’ blessings during the examination and have enough rest and sleep in order to have a smart mind.

“Make happiness as your main objective. Make the love of your teachers as your inspiration. Respect them for the deeds they have imparted to you as they want to see you continue to succeed in life. Wishing all of you success!”he said.

The UPSR which began on Sept 20 until Thursday involves 440,743 candidates, with 430,031 of them being government school and government-aided school candidates, while 10,712 candidates are from private schools.

A total of 8,100 examination centres were opened nationwide involving 54,253 examination invigilators this year.
