KUCHING: A worker was injured in an explosion at an outlet located in CityONE Megamall here at about 3.30pm today.
The outlet was badly damaged by the explosion.
It is understood that the premises was undergoing renovations when the incident occurred.
The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department is investigating the cause of the explosion.
"Due to a sudden explosion just now in one of the units at CityONE Megamall, notice is hereby given that CityONE Megamall will be closed to public with immediate effect until further notice," the mall's management said in a Facebook post today.
