KUALA LUMPUR: Two luxury cars were destroyed in a fire at Jalan Metro Perdana 5, Taman Usahawan, here, early this morning.
Both the cars, a Volkswagen and Mercedes Benz were 80 per cent burnt in the fire.
The Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department Operations Centre said in a statement today that the incident occurred at about 3.58 am.
“A fire-engine with seven firemen were deployed to the scene and arrived at 5.15 am and were able to put out the fire in about 30 minutes,” the statement said
According to the statement, no casualties were reported and the cause of the incident was still being investigated.-- Bernama
