KELANTAN: The Sultan of Kelantan, Sultan Muhammad V arrived at Darulnaim Complex here today to open the 14th state Assembly Sitting here.
The Ruler arrived at the complex about 11.15am and was welcomed by Kelantan Menteri Besar Datuk Ahmad Yakob, his deputy Datuk Mohd Amar Abdullah, state speaker Datuk Abdullah Ya'kub and other state senior leaders.
Also present was Kelantan Regent Dr Tengku Muhammad Faiz Petra.
This was the Sultan's first appearance after he stepped down as the country's 15th Yang Di-Pertuan Agong in January.
The Ruler is expected to deliver his speech later.
