KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Najib Razak was greeted with birthday wishes when he arrived in court today to attend his corruption trial.
A group of his supporters surprised him with cakes and presents at the lobby of the court complex here.
Najib appeared startled when the group started to sing him a happy birthday song as soon as he arrived at about 11am.
Najib who turned 66 today said he was thankful before blowing the candles and eating a slice of the cake.
Clad in a blue suit, the ‘birthday boy’ then proceed to the courtroom located on level five followed by his supporters who kept singing ‘Allah selamatkan kamu’ (God bless you).
