PETALING JAYA: Plus Malaysia Berhad won the National Risk Management Team of the Year Award at the recent Malaysian Association of Risk and Insurance Management (MARIM) International Conference 2019 in Putrajaya.
“This national level recognition comes after our regional win at the Asia-Pacific Strategic Risk Award recently in Singapore. It’s fantastic to be acknowledged by peers throughout the region, but it is also an honour to be picked as the country’s top risk management team,” said Plus managing director Datuk Azman Ismail.
“Winning the Risk Management Team of the Year award is a huge testament that Plus’ Enterprise Risk team has gone the extra mile to effectively implement risk management strategies, while value adding to the organisation. Most importantly, our results are measurable,” he added.
MARIM’s Risk Management Team of the Year Award was evaluated based on a two-tier judging process, which involves a submission of a comprehensive document prepared by the team and a presentation to the panel of judges.
The past winners for MARIM Risk Management Team Award were Malakoff Corporation Berhad in 2018, Telekom Malaysia Berhad in 2017 and Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad 2016.
