MELAKA: Malindo Air cancelled its flight today from Melaka to Pekan Baru due to the haze in the Indonesian city.
Melaka Public Works, Transport and Public Amenities Committee chairman Datuk Mohd Sofi Abdul Wahab said the visibility at the Pekan Baru airport was down to only 600 metres.
“All the 11 passengers will be allowed to travel tomorrow or on another date of their choice,” he told Bernama when contacted.
An API reading of between 0 and 50 is categorised as good, 51-100 (moderate), 101 to 200 (unhealthy), 201 to 300 (very unhealthy) and above 300 (hazardous). –Bernama
