NSTP digital titles now available via MyDigi Subscriptions

SHAH ALAM: The digital versions of New Straits Times, Berita Harian and Harian Metro, as well as interactive education portal FullAMark, is now easily available for subscription via MyDigi Subscriptions, launched by Digi Telecommunication Sdn Bhd (Digi) yesterday.

Through the app, readers can subscribe to the digital newspapers under New Straits Times Press (M) Bhd (NSTP) as well as FullAMark, and other services, under a single platform.

Digi chief marketing Officer Loh Keh Jiat said the difficulty faced by consumers in managing various subscriptions and separate bills inspired Digi to prepare a special platform which could manage all the subscriptions.

He said Digi users could obtain exclusive use of MyDigi Subscriptions via the MyDigi app. Non-Digi users can access the platform via www.easyadd.my.

“The platform offers four categories for customers to make their choice, depending on their interest and requirements, which are entertainment, lifestyle, productivity and education.

“The application is easy to use as customers only need one personal identification method and a password to subscribe or make payment to the service provider,” he said at the launch of the app.

Also present were Digi head of digital products and services Prashant Pathmanaban, Digi chief technology officer Anwar Ishak and Digi head of apps and services Melissa Chai.

Digi users can pay their subscriptions via the Digi monthly bill or credit card, while non-Digi subscribers can choose among other payment methods available on the platform.

To date, more than 30 local and global companies have their offerings on MyDigi Subscriptions, including Atom & the Dot, Boxsome, CallerTunes, iflix, Kaspersky, The Edge, Office 365, MUBI SINEMA and Viu.

In conjunction with the MyDigi Subscriptions launch, customers can obtain free subscriptions on selected offerings until next month.

Prashant said MyDigi Subscriptions provided freedom to companies to promote their products and garner more subscribers.

“By becoming a Digi partner through MyDigi Subscriptions, the companies are able to connect with 3.5 million MyDigi customers, thus opening new revenue streams for them.

“We welcome the addition of more local and global companies into becoming Digi partners through MyDigi Subscriptions in the future via www.digi.my/collab,”he said.
