PUTRAJAYA: In her New Year message today, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail said that 2019 was an eventful year for the Pakatan Harapan (PH) government.

She also said that the rakyat can look forward to a raft of benefits and developments in 2020.

"(2019) was a year when many members of the PH government were learning the ropes of administration.

“(In addition), women aged between 30 and 50, who have stopped working for a year or more, and return to work, will be paid a monthly RM500 wage incentive for two years; while employers will be given a hiring incentive of RM300 per month for the same period.

"(Also), women athletes will receive RM10 million for their development," she added.
