FAQs on schools reopening: Parents should send, fetch kids

KUALA LUMPUR: The Education Ministry encourages parents to send their children to and from school.

This was stated in a list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) by the ministry in conjunction with the reopening of schools.

It said that if a student takes the bus, he or she is required to wear a face mask before entering the school compound. In this case, the student taking the bus is also required to wear the mask while he or she is in the vehicle and alighting from it.

The FAQs mentioned that school headmasters are required to plan a schedule for students arrival and return from school.

This plan must include entry and exit routes to avoid overcrowding. This will also enable students to arrive and return home from school in a staggered manner.

The ministry said the schools could also work out a plan by seeking the cooperation from its Parent-Teacher Association, police as well as the local authorities.
