7,611 people arrived in M'sia since June 10 [NSTTV]

PUTRAJAYA: A total 7,611 people have arrived in the country via the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) between June 10 and yesterday, said Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

He said of the total, 7,575 people tested negative for the virus and were ordered to undergo mandatory home quarantine while 36 others were found positive for the virus and were sent to hospital for treatment.

"A total 428 Malaysians returned to the country and arrived at the KLIA and klia2 on June 30.

"All of them were ordered to undergo mandatory home quarantine," he told a press conference today.

He said the Malaysians had returned from various countries namely China, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Pakistan, Japan, Qatar and India.
