KUALA LUMPUR: The Penang remand prison and the Penang Prisons Department's quarters will be placed under Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO).
This was decided in a special National Security Council (NSC) meeting today and announced by Senior Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob in a press conference streamed live this afternoon.
The EMCO in these two areas will take from midnight Oct 15.
