SHAH ALAM: Avisena Women's and Children's Specialist Hospital here has confirmed that two of its staff members have tested positive for Covid-19.
In a statement, Avisena Group said both employees are from the management team and had very limited contact with customers.
"They have been practicing strict SOP guidelines, wearing masks at all times during their working hours.
"A thorough internal investigation and contact tracing is being carried out as per the Health Ministry's guidelines.
"We are currently undergoing a risk assessment and those with close contact are being tested and placed under a 14-day home quarantine."
It said affected areas in the hospital have been closed for disinfection and cleaning.
