Tambun resort landslide: Two guests found dead [NSTTV]

IPOH: Two guests of the Banjaran Hot Spring Resort in Tambun, Perak – who were feared buried in a landslide which struck their villa this morning – have been found dead.

The bodies of Ooi Chee Wei, 39 and Lee Tze Jun, 32, were found at 9.55am and 10am, respectively.

"The bodies were found in the jacuzzi room of the villa," Perak acting police chief Datuk Goh Boon Keng told reporters when met outside the resort, here.

The remains will be taken to the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital (HRPB) for post-mortems.

Earlier, the Perak Fire and Rescue Department said they received a distress call at 1.28am, and a team of firemen from Ipoh was dispatched to the scene.
