Malaysia Airlines offers subsidised tickets to all local destinations

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Airlines is offering customers subsidised airline tickets for all domestic travels from Nov 23 this year until June 30, 2021.

This incentive is in line with the government's Green Zone Domestic Travel Bubble initiative which was announced by Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri today.

Malaysia Airlines, in a statement today, said customers could claim a discount of up to RM200 for its Economy and Business Class normal fares to all local destinations.

"Customers will need to sign up as an Enrich member to proceed with the booking.

"As a special giveaway, customers are also entitled to 500 Bonus Enrich Miles, which will be credited after the flight completes.

"The incentive is exclusively available for all bookings made on http://malaysiaairlines.com/cuticutimalaysia.

"The tour operating arm of Malaysia Airlines, MHholidays will also be offering up to 25 per cent discount on flight and hotel packages on domestic destinations, starting from Nov 23 until Dec 8 for travel until June 30, 2021," read the statement.

The minister today announced a detailed Stimulus Recovery Plan (SRP), which includes the Domestic Travel Bubble, to revitalise the country's tourism sector.

Under this initiative, travel between green zones in the country are allowed.

Tourists travelling between green zones without going through yellow, orange or red zones are not required to obtain police permission to travel.

However, those who need to cross through non-green zones will have to obtain permission, which can be requested in bulk by registered travel agents.
