KUALA LUMPUR: Selangor recorded the highest number of daily cases today at 417, followed by Sabah with 271 cases.
The total number of new cases today remains in the four digits at 1,012 bringing the cumulative number of cases since Covid-19 hit Malaysia to 75,306, of which 10,862 are active cases.
Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah in a statement said of the new cases, seven were imported.
Meanwhile the number of daily recoveries today is higher than the number of new cases at 1,750.
A total of 126 Covid-19 positive patients are being treated at intensive care units at hospitals, with 62 requiring breathing assistance.
Four more Covid-19 deaths are recorded today bringing the tally of deaths nationwide to 388.
