KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin is scheduled to deliver his much-anticipated announcement on the implementation of new Covid-19 measures at 6pm today.
The special address will be aired live on Radio Televisyen Malaysia, Bernama TV, TV3 and Astro Awani.
Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob last Friday had said that Muhyiddin is expected to make an announcement on additional measures to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic from escalating in the country.
The Senior Defence Minister also said that the National Security Council (NSC) is in the process of formulating the necessary standard operating procedures (SOP) based on suggestions from various parties.
