KOTA BARU: Galas assemblyman Mohd Syahbuddin Hashim who was warded recently after testing positive for Covid-19, was dicharged from Sultan Ismail Petra Hospital in Kuala Krai yesterday.
Also allowed to return home was his wife, Nor Azila Sidi Ahmad, 40.
Mohd Syahbuddin in his Facebook post said he and his wife were discharged yesterday evening after being warded since last week.
"Me and my wife would like to thank all doctors, nurses as well as others who have been treating us from day one.
"We really appreciate their sacrifice and dedication in treating us and other covid patients," he said.
Several days earlier, two other Kelantan Umno leaders who were tested positive for Covid-19, were also discharged from the same hospital.
They were Nenggiri state assemblyman Ab Aziz Yusoff and Gua Musang Umno Youth chief Mohd Azmwai Fikri Abdul Ghani.
Meanwhile, sources said that Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Economy) Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed and Padang Rengas member of parliament Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Aziz who were tested positive for Covid-19 recently, remained isolated.
Both were still warded at the Raja Perempuan Zainab II Hospital (HRPZ II) and their condition were reported to be stable.
