KUALA LUMPUR: Police have arrested graphic artist and activist Fahmi Reza.
Dang Wangi police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Zainal Abdullah when contacted confirmed the matter but did not elaborate on the reason behind the arrest.
He said the case was being investigated by the Bukit Aman.
Earlier, Twitter user @esshimself tweeted: "Graphic artist Fahmi Reza @kuasasiswa has been arrested. He is being brought to the Dang Wangi police station right now over his 'Dengki ke?' Spotify playlist.
"Fahmi will be investigated under the Sedition Act and CMA (Communications and Multimedia Act). Seemingly 20 cops arrested him and took him to the station before his lawyer could arrive."
