KOTA BARU: The Kelantan Health Department has set up a special hotline to help senior citizens aged 60 and above to register for the Covid-19 vaccination programme.
The department, via its Facebook said the move was to encourage the elderly to register for inoculation.
The hotline at 09-7743099 and 09-7742099 started on July 9 and would end on July 23. It operates from 9am until 3pm daily.
Meanwhile, Kelantan recorded one new Covid-19 cluster yesterday known as Lorong MIEL Lundang.
Cases in the cluster were first detected in the state on July 11 and so far, six people have tested positive.
Another death was recorded yesterday bringing the state's Covid-19 death toll to 252.
There were 146 new Covid-19 cases in Kelantan yesterday, bringing the total to 37,558.
128 were local transmissions; while 14 cases were from the prison and four were imported.
Eight of the 10 districts in Kelantan are red zones, while the remaining two are yellow zones.
