KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia continues to record new Covid-19 cases below the 5,000-mark, with 4,262 infections recorded today.
This is a slight dip from 4,298 reported yesterday.
Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said this has pushed the nation's toll to 2,663,034 cases.

Forty individuals died due to Covid-19 yesterday (Dec 5), pushing the death toll to 30,614.
Ten of the total fatalities were brought-in-dead (BID) cases.
A total of 4,929 recoveries were also recorded yesterday.
