JustLogin cloud-based HR system aims to ease local SMEs' operations

KUALA LUMPUR: Cloud-based human resources (HR) system JustLogin has officially been launched in the country, aiming to make small-medium enterprises (SME) operations seamless.

Hailing from Singapore, the system was designed with a mobility and employee-first approach tailored to meet current digitalised corporate needs.

It also aimed to be a paradigm in shifting companies, including SMEs, in embracing HR cloud-based technology.

JustLogin Pte Ltd chief executive officer Kwa Kim Chiong said the idea behind the invention was to create a solution to endless paperwork and tedious forms.

Speaking to the New Straits Times recently, Kwa said JustLogin was created to benefit employees in saving time and manpower, as well as increasing productivity, efficiency and accuracy.

"The system is literally like having an HR in your pocket, such as allowing users to clock in and out of work via its face recognition technology, or using the snap, scan and send function to submitting expenses claims.

"Instead of being bogged down with manual data entry, this system provides an automated solution that would streamline the administrative process powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) and microservices technology," he said when met at JustLogin Malaysia headquarters at Platinum Sentral, here, earlier today.

Kwa said the system was designed based on multi-tenancy architecture, in which a single instance could serve multiple users.

"When we release updates, the system works to ensure every user gets it at the same time.

"So, let's say if a customer reports a bug or an issue, we'd get it fixed and apply it entirely so that other users don't have to experience the hassle.

"When we put in an enhancement, everyone will get it for free. We release system updates every two weeks to ensure smooth-interface experiences for our users," he said.

Kwa said the Digital Economy Blueprint had inspired JustLogin to be the key point in accelerating digital adoption by SMEs.

He said the company had chosen Malaysia to venture JustLogin as the country had about 1.15 million registered SMEs.

Currently, the company is offering an exclusive six-month complimentary trial to all SMEs with a valid status certificate issued by SME Corporation Malaysia.

He said a 14-day or 30-day trial period may not be sufficient for these future users to experience the system.

"We understand many questions and worries circling digital adoption, especially in data security. However, it is quite straightforward as many business owners begin to realise that digital adoption is the way to go.

"They also get to decide on their pace and presented with options such as achieving higher productivity with fewer people or vice versa.

"The way I see it, JustLogin could help HR practitioners' career growth as they could direct their productivity to other matters, instead of spending much time on processing paperwork.

"Hence the six-month trial period for them to fully utilise the system, risks free. In a way, they can learn and get used to the system, while accelerating digital adoption in their business operation".

JustLogin has been adopted by over 2,500 companies across 25 countries, including IKEA, Toyota, Inside Scoop and Sunway Medical Centre.
