KUALA LUMPUR: Pengerang member of parliament Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said today tested positive for Covid-19.
Azalina confirmed this in a statement following the results of a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test.
"I would like to apologise for the difficulties caused following such a development.
"I would like to appeal to those who had liaised with me throughout the last 48 hours to also undergo the necessary Covid-19 testing," she said in the brief statement.
Azalina had earlier today appeared during the morning session of the Dewan Rakyat sitting.
