New dates for SPM candidates who missed exams due to Covid-19, flood

KUALA LUMPUR: Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) candidates who missed their examinations due to Covid-19 and the recent floods can now sit for it in the second session in April and May.

The second session, to be conducted between April 5 and May 19, is for those who could not sit for the examination between Feb 8 and March 29 as they tested positive to the virus, were under quarantine orders, impacted by the recent flooding, and for special cases as approved by the Examination Director, said the Education Ministry in a statement today.

This also included those who missed their oral, listening and practical science tests.

"The Examination Board (EB) would like to remind these candidates to check, confirm and print out their Examination Registration Statement which contains designated examination centre information, date, time, code and examination papers from April 1.

"All the information can be obtained via the link 'https://elp.moe.gov.my' or through the e-Lembaga Peperiksaan mobile application which can be downloaded through the Google Play Store.

"The SPM 2021 examination timetable for the second session as well as the instructions that need to be followed during the examination can be downloaded from the EB's official portal at http://lp.moe.gov.my.

"Candidates are also reminded to bring their identity documents and a printed Examination Registration Statement to the examination centre," said the statement.

Written tests will be held for 15 days from April 11 to May 18.

Oral tests for Bahasa Melayu and English will be held on April 5 and April 6 respectively while listening test for both the languages will be held on April 7 in the morning.

The International Language Achievement Test (UPBA) test will be held on April 7 in the evening session while practical science test will be on May 19.
