As early as 1972, the New Straits Times Press (NSTP) was there to document her visits here which included attending the closing ceremony of the 1998 Commonwealth Games.
Queen Elizabeth passed away at the age of 96 at Balmoral, in Scotland. She was the longest reigning monarch in British history.
