Special public holidays on Nov 18-19 in Sabah: CM

KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah government has declared Nov 18 and 19 as special public holidays for the state, announced Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.

In a brief statement, Hajiji said this is for the convenience of the people to fulfil their responsibility to exercise their rights in the 15th General Election (GE15).

According to the Election Commission, 1,689,387 voters are eligible to cast their ballots in Sabah.

A total of 119 candidates will be vying for the 25 Parliamentary seats in Sabah this Saturday as Malaysia go to polls.
