KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will announce the list of deputy ministers for his new cabinet at 8.15pm.
Anwar said he will be having an audience with Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah to discuss on the matter this evening.
He made the announcement after performing his Friday prayers at Masjid Jamek Kampung Baru, here, today.
"The Kampung Baru mosque once served as the Muslim Youth Movement of Malaysia's headquarters, so I came here to express my appreciation to my comrades who have consistently supported the Reformasi movement throughout the years," he told reporters.
He was also accompanied by Titiwangsa member of parliament Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani and Religious Affairs Minister Senator Datuk Dr Mohd Na'im Mokhtar.
