KUALA LUMPUR: Several stations along RapidKL's Light Rail Transit (LRT), Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) and monorail networks will extend their operating hours on New Year's Eve.
Rapid KL said in a statement that nine stations will be operating until 1am tomorrow night in conjunction with the new year holiday.
The stations involved are KLCC and Masjid Jamek on the LRT Kelana Jaya Line; Bukit Bintang on the KL Monorail Line; Masjid Jamek, Maluri, IOI Puchong Jaya and Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) on the Ampang LRT Line; and Bukit Bintang and Maluri on the Kajang MRT Line.
Other stations along these networks will be closed at their usual times on the same day.
"Passengers are advised to use their Touch and Go (TnG) card and ensure there is enough balance to have a smooth journey to their desired destination," it said.
RapidKL said all passengers must wear face masks while using these rail services and any failure to do so will lead to them being prevented from entering the trains.
