PUTRAJAYA: The Health Ministry (MoH) touched on several healthcare issues during a town hall session between the doctors and Health Minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa.
MoH said in a statement that the session aimed to get views, feedback and suggestions from medical personnel on various matters including contract doctors.
"Other issues raised were improvements in public healthcare facilities, lack of doctors in the emergency department, career path improvement, and other technical issues.
"Dr Zaliha will try to deal with the related issues either from a policy or technical point of view involving MoH.
"She thanked the medical officers who were present," it said.
Also present during the Town Hall Session was Deputy Health Minister Lukanisman Awang Sauni, and officers from their respective offices.
