KUALA LUMPUR: The Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry will be introducing a discount card for Menu Rahmah operators tomorrow.
Acting Minister Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali said the discount card is an incentive to the Menu Rahmah operators, who have been supporting the government's effort all these while.
"Tomorrow, together with the deputy minister, we will be introducing a new initiative, which is the introduction of a discount card for cafe and restaurant operators that are involved in this Menu Rahmah initiative.
"This is as an incentive to the operators who have been supporting the government," he said in his winding-up speech in Dewan Rakyat today.
Armizan said that the discount card allows operators to purchase goods at discounted prices at six supermarkets that have agreed to cooperate with the ministry.
