Hamas denies Israeli's rape allegations during Al-Aqsa Flood

KUALA LUMPUR: Hamas has vehemently denied any allegations of rape made by the Israeli occupation during the events of the Al-Aqsa Flood on Oct 7.

It has strongly condemned the alignment of certain Western media outlets with the misguided Zionist campaigns and propaganda, which perpetuate baseless falsehoods and allegations against the group.

In a press statement, Hamas said this was an attempt to portray the group in a negative light, with the latest accusation involving claims of "sexual violence" by its members during the Oct 7 of the Al-Aqsa flood battle.

"We consider this misleading campaign part of a series of lies propagated by the Zionist propaganda machine, whose claims have been false, especially the beheading of children, and the targeting of revellers at the concert in the Reim settlement, not the last of which is the use of Al-Shifa Medical Hospital for military purposes.

"The Nazi Zionist occupation seeks to broadcast rumours and lies on Hamas in a desperate attempt to cover up the image witnessed by the world for the human and moral dealing with the detainees and their good care, from the Hamas men, which witnessed by a number of released detainees, despite the occupation's attempts to cover up and obscure it."

Hamas has urged all media outlets to exercise greater caution in verifying news before disseminating Zionist propaganda carelessly across the globe.

Emphasising the importance of avoiding succumbing to the occupation's falsehoods, it stressed the media's responsibility to uphold and safeguard the truth and the integrity of the media's message.
