KUALA LUMPUR: Users of the North South Expressway (PLUS) and East Coast Highway (LPT2) users are in for a treat with toll free travel tomorrow and Tuesday in conjunction with the Christmas celebration.
PLUS, in a statement, said the toll-free travel will begin at midnight tonight until 11.59pm tomorrow, as well as the same on Dec 26.
"This toll-free benefit applies to all classes of vehicles in 92 toll plazas along highways managed by PLUS, as well as 10 toll plazas along the LPT2.
"However, the toll-free travel does not apply to border highways namely the
Bangunan Sultan Iskandar toll plaza (Johor Causeway) and the Tanjung Kupang toll plaza (Malaysia-Singapore Second Link)," said the company.
PLUS advised the public to adhere to the infographic issued on the matter.
PLUS had earlier forecast that around 2 million vehicles would be plying the highways, peaking during the school holidays, Christmas period as well as the new year.
