KOTA BARU: A total of 47 locations in seven districts are facing electrical supply disruptions due to heavy rain and storms today.
Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) in a Facebook post said the affected districts are Bachok, Tumpat, Kota Baru, Pasir Mas, Pasir Puteh, Kuala Krai, and Gua Musang.
"The restoration work of the electricity supply is expected to take a longer time due to numerous fallen trees that have affected TNB poles and lines.
"Areas that are affected by the power disruptions are 14 villages in Kota Baru and eight villages each in Bachok and Pasir Mas with eight villages each.
"Additionally, five villages each in Kuala Krai and Gua Musang are affected by this, four villages in Tumpat and three villages in Pasir Puteh," it said.
TNB also advised the public not to approach fallen lines or any damaged electrical installations.
"Our technical teams are working to restore the supply while prioritising everyone's safety during the restoration process.
