MB leads Negri ruler's award list

SEREMBAN: Negri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun leads the list of 473 award recipients on the 76th birthday of Yang di-Pertuan Besar Negri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir today.

Aminuddin, who is Negri Sembilan Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman, is bestowed the Darjah Seri Utama Negeri Sembilan (SUNS), which bears the title Datuk Seri Utama.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain is the sole recipient of the Darjah Seri Setia Negeri Sembilan Yang Amat Cemerlang (SSNS), which carries the title Datuk Seri.

Five others received the Darjah Datuk Paduka Negeri Sembilan (DPNS), which carries the title Datuk. They are Negri Sembilan Mufti Associate Professor Dr Faudzinaim Badaruddin, Negri Sembilan Syariah Court chief judge Kamal Bashah Ahmad Tajuddin, Bukit Aman Narcotics Crimes Investigation Department director Datuk Seri Mohd Kamarudin Md Din, Negri Sembilan State Secretary Datuk Mohd Zafir Ibrahim and Seremban High Court chief judge Datin Rohani Ismail.

Twenty-two people were conferred the Darjah Setia Bakti Negeri Sembilan (DBNS), which carries the title Datuk.

The DBNS recipients were Negri Sembilan deputy police chief Senior Assistant Commissioner Abd Khalid Othman, Negri Sembilan Armed Forces Veterans Association president Adnan Ahmad, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) deputy vice-chancellor Professor Dr Adnan Mohamed Yusoff, and Negri Sembilan Hospice president Dr Anthony Gilbert a/l Maria Soosai.

The others included Negri Sembilan prosecution director Badius Zaman Ahmad, Samsung SDI Energy Malaysia managing director Jung Woochang, Maltor Enterprise director Lee Chee Kung, Azza Mewah Development managing director Lee Quay Kuan, Tuanku Ja'afar Seremban Hospital Nephrology Department head Dr Lily Mushahar and Hytech Engineering Industries managing director Liong Yen Lam.

Other recipients were former Rahang assemblyman Mary Josephine Prittam Singh; First Malaysian Infantry Brigade commander Brigadier General Mohamad Noorlizam Shamsuddin; Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia deputy vice-chancellor Professor Dr Mohammad Kassim, Sungai Lui assemblyman Mohd Razi Mohd Ali and Negri Sembilan Parti Amanah Negara vice-chairman Muhamad Zaki Md Sabri.

DBNS recipients also included army logistics assistant staff chief Brigadier General Muhammad Shafiq Poh Abdullah, Negri Sembilan Education Department director Dr Roslan Hussin, Drainage and Irrigation Department director Rozman Mohamad, and Johol assemblyman Saiful Yazan Sulaiman.

Malaysian Highway Authority director-general Sazali Harun, Perfect Hexagon Limited chief executive officer Sim Tze Jye, and Mawar Medical Centre surgeon Dr Wong Shiak Sun also made the list.

Tuanku Muhriz bestowed the Darjah Setia Negri Sembilan (DNS) to 14 recipients and the Darjah Pekerti Terpilih (DPT) on 22 recipients.

He bestowed the Darjah Ahli Setia Negri Sembilan (ANS) to 62 recipients, Darjah Setiawan Tuanku Muhriz (STM / 7 recipients), Pingat Khidmat Cemerlang Masyarakat (PMC/ 112), Pingat Jasa Kebaktian (PJK/ 194), Bentara Tuanku Muhriz (BTM/ 23) and Pingat Khidmat Lama (PKL) on 10 recipients.

The first session of the conferment awards will take place at Balairung Seri, Istana Besar Seri Menanti Kuala Pilah today.
