KOTA TINGGI: Three people, including a teacher, were killed in an accident on Jalan Besar Felda Air Tawar 1 near here, this morning.
Kota Tinggi Fire and Rescue Department chief Mohd Shawaluddin Ami Nordin said that seven members from the Kota Tinggi Fire and Rescue Department went to the scene after receiving an emergency call at 6.49am.
He said that upon arrival at the scene, they found an accident involving a Perodua Myvi and a Proton Gen 2.
"The Perodua Myvi was occupied by two adult males, with one of them trapped inside the car. The driver of the Proton Gen 2– alone in the car– was also trapped.
"All victims were confirmed dead at the scene by a medical team from the Health Ministry," he said when contacted today.
He added that the victims' bodies were taken to Kota Tinggi Hospital for further action.
