Missing influencer Boss Mario found: Checked himself into hospital due to stress

KUALA LUMPUR: Police have found Boss Mario, a prominent social media influencer, who was reported missing after leaving his residence at 3am on Friday.

Melaka Tengah police chief Christopher Patit had earlier confirmed the identity of the man found, whose real name is Yew Boon Xiang.

Yew told police that he intentionally isolated himself due to the emotional stress he was experiencing. As reported by Utusan Malaysia, he revealed that he had admitted himself to a private hospital at 2.15pm on the same day for treatment.

Christopher shared that Yew had been staying in an uninhabited house in Klebang, saying the he was stressed over his company affairs. Yew's brother had filed a missing person's report at 9.35pm on Friday when his car was discovered parked in the Pantai Klebang area in Melaka at 6pm.

At press time, Yew was reported still missing just under an hour ago.

The news of Boss Mario's disappearance had gained widespread attention on social media, where he boasts around 222,000 followers on Facebook.
