KUALA LUMPUR: The Year of the Rabbit ended on a superb high for two good friends.
On Feb 7, three days before the lunar new year, they won the Toto 4D Jackpot 1, taking home a big angpow of RM20.4 million.
The two friends from Johor, both aged 32, who run a food and beverage business together, told STM Lottery Sdn Bhd that they both had dreams which inspired them to come out with the pair of winning numbers – 3225 and 1981.
"We had a dream coincidently which gave us the winning numbers and we first thought of betting on our own number individually but one of us suddenly proposed that we should combine both numbers and bet on the Toto 4D Jackpot game.
"It was proven that we made the right decision and we won big!"
The duo thanked the God of Fortune for bringing them the wealth just before Chinese New Year.
"We are only 32 years old and it is really hard for us to imagine having such a big amount of money. We haven't had the opportunity to think about using the winnings.
"Perhaps we will use the money for investment and let it grow," they added.
The winners bought a System 10 ticket which won them not only a whopping RM20,410,022.60, but also another RM2,688 as System Play bonus.
