Motorcyclist who lapsed on his licence, insurance killed in NSE crash in Kluang

KLUANG: A 32-year-old motorcyclist was killed when he crashed into the road barrier at Km 62.8 of the northbound lane of the North-South Expressway today.

The victim identified as Muhammad Nur Mustakim Seman was riding his bike with an expired motor licence and insurance. Both lapsed on Jun 6, 2022.

District police chief Assistant Commissioner Bahrin Mohd Noh said initial investigations revealed that the victim had lost control of his bike, before crashing into the road barrier at 1.15pm.

He sustained severe head injuries in the crash that killed him instantly.

There were no other motorists involved in the fatal accident.

He urged motorists to check the validity of their driving or motor licence, vehicle insurance and road tax, before traveling.
