KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has urged the Muslim community in the country to persist in their prayers for the Palestinians, who are currently enduring merciless attacks.
He said that as the night of Nisfu Syaaban approaches, Muslims must seize the opportunity to wholeheartedly supplicate for the oppressed.
"As we approach the night of Nisfu Syaaban, let us collectively intensify our devotion, and fortify our spiritual connection through remembrance and prayers to god.
"This period also marks the nearing of Ramadan. Strengthening our spiritual resolve and consistent practice will enable us to embark on the auspicious journey of Ramadan with profound blessings," he said in his Facebook post today.
