KUALA LUMPUR: Mahadi Badrul Zaman, husband to actress Heliza Helmi, has been included in the Securities Commission's (SC) investor alert list.
Checks on the SC's website showed that his name and that of his company, AUF MBZ Consortium Plt had been added to the investor alert list.
Under the remarks column, the site stated that Mahadi's name was listed for "Carrying on unlicensed capital market activities of dealing in securities in relation to the marketing of Unlisted Public Company shares."
Social media was abuzz previously when actress Fathia Latiff had claimed that Heliza's husband, who is better known as Mahadi BZ, had "cheated her."
She had alleged that Mahadi had failed to complete a house that she had bought five years ago.
The actress also claimed that she was still paying RM2,000 a month for the home despite it still being incomplete. She claimed she was promised that the house would be completed in 2022.
Heliza, in response, had issued a statement, saying she and her husband had "forgiven" the actress.
Mahadi had also previously told an online portal that he had never met Fathia and that he does not have any businesses related to real estate.
