KOTA SAMARAHAN: The Bumiputera Entrepreneurs Council of Sarawak (DUBS) in Kota Samarahan is poised to catalyse business activities and industries at the local level, the Sarawak Public Communications Unit reported.
This development follows the receipt of two heavy machinery units from DUBS Holdings Sdn Bhd during a ceremony held here on Feb 9.
Rural and Regional Development Deputy Minister Datuk Rubiah Wang officiated the event. In her speech, she indicated that the delivery of the heavy machinery marks the beginning of a new phase in the economic and industrial development of DUBS Samarahan, emphasising its role as a catalyst for local business and industry activities.
Rubiah expressed her belief in the necessity of initiatives like this, as they enhance operational efficiency, make merchants and entrepreneurs more competitive in the market, and economically benefit the surrounding community.
Additionally, Rubiah hopes that DUBS Kota Samarahan will continue to contribute to Sarawak's development and inspire further innovations and development initiatives within DUBS Samarahan.
