Regent of Johor presents awards in conjunction with Sultan of Johor's birthday

JOHOR BARU: The Regent of Johor Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim today attended the Thanksgiving and Investiture Ceremony in conjunction with the birthday of the Sultan of Johor.

The ceremony took place at the Audience Hall of Istana Bukit Serene this morning.

Also present were Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi, president of the Johor Royal Council Datuk Dr Abdul Rahim Ramli and State Secretary Tan Sri Dr Azmi Rohani.

Leading the list of recipients was Datuk Dennis Muhammad Abdullah, husband of Tunku Tun Aminah Sultan Ibrahim, who was bestowed with the Darjah Mahkota Johor Yang Amat Mulia Pangkat Pertama Datuk Seri Paduka Mahkota Johor (SPMJ) which carries the title of Datuk.

Three individuals were conferred with the Darjah Sultan Ibrahim Johor Yang Amat Disanjungi Pangkat Kedua Datuk Mulia Sultan Ibrahim Johor (DMIJ), which also carries the title of Datuk.

They are the Sultan of Johor's personal pilot, Major (R) Datuk Roslee Mardofee, commander of the 7th Brigade, Brigadier General Datuk Mohamad Suria Mohamad Saad and Mados's Sdn Bhd general manager Datuk Ong Eng Leong.

Three district officers were honored with the Darjah Sultan Ibrahim Johor Yang Amat Disanjungi Pangkat Ketiga Setia Mulia Sultan Ibrahim Johor (SIJ), namely Segamat district officer Mohd Masni Wakiman, Fizwan Mohd Rashidi (Kulai) and Mohd Farid Kassim (Tangkak).
