Two Malaysians killed in Pattalung road accident

PATTALUNG, Thailand: Two Malaysian men were killed and two others were seriously injured in a road accident involving a car and a trailer in Pattalung, Southern Thailand, yesterday evening.

Lieut. Col. Pol. Kiatichai Kuamit of Khao Chaison said the initial investigation found that the car, which was occupied by four Malaysians and driven by a Thai national, was badly damaged.

The motorist was believed to have lost control and hit the back of a trailer.

The victims, aged 63 and 58 died at the scene, while the two other passengers aged 23 and 73 were seriously injured.

The 41-year-old car driver also sustained serious injuries.

"So far, the identities of the Malaysians who died are not known and the police are still continuing the investigation," he said when contacted today. – BERNAMA
