KUALA KRAI: Three people were killed and five others severely injured in an accident involving two four-wheel drive vehicles on Jalan Kuala Krai-Gua Musang around midnight.
Two of the three victims killed during the accident were traveling in a Toyota Hilux while the third victim, a woman, was traveling in a Ford Ranger.
A Kelantan Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said a team was rushed to the scene after they were alerted over the accident involving the two vehicles.
"Rescuers sent to the scene had to extricate some of the victims who were trapped inside the vehicle due to the impact of the accident.
"All victims were rushed to the Kuala Krai Hospital," the spokesman said.
