KUALA LUMPUR: The King and Queen of Malaysia, His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, and Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah have paid tribute to teachers across the country.
Sultan Ibrahim said the sacrifices of educators must not be forgotten as they played a vital role in developing the nation and its people.
"Thank you to the teachers who have educated us, your knowledge and dedication will always be remembered," said the royal couple in a Facebook post in conjunction with Teacher's Day.
His Majesty and Her Majesty also extended their wishes for a happy Teacher's Day to all teachers."
