KUALA LUMPUR: An uprooted tree fell near the Mahallah Safiyyah residential college at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) this afternoon.
A picture and a video clip of the fallen tree was shared on X by user @imanrrzq, who urged caution for those travelling through Gombak.
"Fallen tree in front of Mahallah Safiyyah. Plan your journey ahead. Be on the lookout for possible incidents as a storm/rain is approaching Gombak," the X user said in the caption of the post.
The tree is believed to have fallen on the roof of a bus stop.
The New Straits Times has reached out to the IIUM management for comment.
