KUALA LUMPUR: The PKR-led Selangor government is in disorder, Umno Youth Kuala Langat chief Jefrizal Mohd Jaafar said.
In debating Umno Youth Chief Khairy Jamaluddin's policy speech at the Umno General Assembly here, Jefrizal claimed that the state government and its Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali are puppets to the DAP.
"There are hidden hands controlling the administration and development in Selangor and Azmin is being made a puppet.
"Now that DAP is controlling the state government, the price of houses has gone up, profitting capitalists. What's going to happen to the people of Selangor ?" he said at the Putra World Trade Centre here.
Jefrizal said if Barisan Nasional were to re-capture the state in the 14th General Election, the coalition will demand for the Selangor State Development Corporation's (PKNS) powers to be returned.
He said PKNS is a body that can control housing prices and would help empower the people of Selangor in realising their wishes and dreams.
"PKNS is a body that has the ability to stop developers from simply raising the prices. But unfortunately, PKNS is not functional now like how it's supposed to be," he added.
