Johor BN to launch manifesto tomorrow

JOHOR BARU: Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin is expected to launch the state Barisan Nasional’s (BN) 14th General Election manifesto tomorrow.

In a statement today, BN said Johor folk had been waiting in anticipation for the manifesto to be unveiled after the government came close to achieving 100 per cent success in fulfilling its pledges in the 13th General Election Manifesto.

The statement said the new manifesto was designed to steer the state to greater heights.

It will feature new deals and a five-year rejuvenation plan that will bring prosperity to the people.

Areas of focus include a strong commitment to empower the people and improve their livelihoods, tap the development potential of every sector in each district, carry out mega projects, create opportunities for the people and alleviate the hardship that people face due to the rising cost of living.

The manifesto will be unveiled at the Persada Johor International Convention Centre at 11am and telecast live at www.facebook.com/MohamedKhaledNordin.

Some 3,000 guests are expected to be at the event.
